After our whirlwind adventure in Morocco we land in Nice in the evening. Originally we planned to catch the bus from airport to Airbnb but there was construction going on and when we followed the signs to the bus station in the other terminal, we discovered that it’s closed and realized that the stop was moved to the shuttle stop where we were initially dropped off at when we changed terminals.
Morocco was the most epic and stressful, poorly planned (due to inexperience), and magical country we’ve been to yet. With only 6 days we spent most of it driving but the countryside was stunning – we saw everything from fields to rolling hills and from desert sands to snowy mountains.
One thing we love about Spain is how restaurants are typically open really late. We find Los Bellota, due to their strong online presence (good job guys!), and are delighted by their gamba el ajillo or garlic shrimp – though mild on the garlic, they were very flavorful and perfectly tender.
Seville on the other hand, feels like the quieter, pious and dignified middle sister. She is a gorgeous historic city full of churches and lined with orange trees, and while we saw plenty of tourists, the vibe of Seville was very relaxed. We only had a few days and we wished we had more time.
